The mission of the North Washington Street Water and Sanitation District is to provide and maintain water and sewer line services for residents and businesses by providing water from Denver Water and sewer services from Metro Wastewater Reclamation District.

The Denver Water treats its drinking water with chlorine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and EPA find there is no evidence that COVID – 19 is spread through drinking water and the COVID-19 has not been detected in drinking water supplies. Who We Are
The North Washington Street Water and Sanitation District is a special district overseen by a board of 5 Directors. The Directors are volunteers who are elected under the statutes of the State of Colorado, with staggered terms of two to four years.
After Hours
"After Hour Turn-On's" are available before 7:00 p.m. by calling (720) 218 - 0827. Please have your payment (Check or Money Order) ready at that time. Credit Cards are not accepted by the Field Staff, however, you may pay your bill online and present your receipt to the Field Staff when they arrive at your door. You can also pay by phone 1-855-939-2113 and give confirmation number to the Field Staff. Please refer to the Payments page to access our online bill pay system.

Our night Drop Box is available 24 hours per day and is located next to the main office entry door.
IMPORTANT BILLING INFORMATION
All billing statements will be due 30 days from the billing date. If payment has not been received 30 days after the billing date, an automatic 15-day grace period will be granted. You will not need to call the District office to request this additional time. On the next business day, if payment has not been received by 9:00 a.m., water service will be terminated and a $75.00 fee will be assessed to your account, each time water has been disconnected.
All Non-sufficient Fund Checks, Stopped Checks or any Bank Returned Checks, regardless of the reason will result in a $40.00 Return Process Fee and may be subject to immediate termination of service.
If you are not already using our Automated ACH payment program, we encourage you to sign up now! If you need help, call us! We will be happy to help you through the process. All you need is a checking or savings account. We will still mail you a paper invoice each month, or you can sign up for email invoices so you will know how much to deduct from your account.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The North Washington Street Water and Sanitation District is urging all customers to review their insurance policies to confirm or obtain coverage for water and sewer backups. The District is not responsible for damages to homes or businesses caused by these events, so it is strongly urged that you make sure you have this coverage.
