Welcome to the North Washington Street Water and Sanitation District Website

The mission of the North Washington Street Water and Sanitation District is to provide and maintain water and sewer line services for residents and businesses by providing water from Denver Water and sewer services from Metro Wastewater Reclamation District.

Our business hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions 303-288-6664.

The Denver Water treats its drinking water with chlorine.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and EPA find there is no evidence that COVID – 19 is spread through drinking water and the COVID-19 has not been detected in drinking water supplies.  For more information on COVID-19 drinking water please visit and drinking -water-and-wastewater.

The North Washington Street Water and Sanitation District is urging all customers to review their insurance policies to confirm or obtain coverage for water and sewer backups.  The District is not responsible for damages to homes or businesses caused by these events, so it is strongly urged that you make sure you have this coverage.  Effective July 7, 2022, the District has adopted a response plan to address these events.  Please click on the Water & Sewer Service tab and go to Sewer Resolution for more details.
